About Billie | Principal Therapist & Practice Owner
Billie Preston is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and an approved Victims Services Counsellor (NSW and ACT).
As a Social Worker, Billie applies a holistic approach, considering each person within their wider psycho-social system rather than seeing the individual as “the problem.” She values collaboration and partnership, encouraging a therapeutic relationship that feels safe and respectful rather than expert-driven.

Since establishing her private practice in 2020, Billie continues to enjoy working closely with her clients, supporting them to navigate challenges, build on their strengths, and move toward greater wellbeing.
Supervision
Billie previously worked with Western Sydney University as a Clinical Supervisor and continues to provide Clinical Supervision to Social Workers and other professionals including case workers, school counsellors and psychologists.
Family & Values
As a busy mum of two growing children, Billie understands the challenges of everyday life. She is committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space for all individuals and families who come to therapy during difficult periods.
She has been married for almost 20 years and is also a proud “fur mum” to two adorable dogs. With her warm, empathetic nature and good sense of humour, Billie helps clients feel at ease in therapy.
Billie is an LGBTQIA+ ally and is committed to providing respectful, affirming support for people of all identities, cultures, and backgrounds. She embraces a neurodivergent-affirming practice and also welcomes people from diverse and underrepresented communities ensuring therapy is a space where everyone feels valued and included.
